Lesson Bookings
- All lessons must be booked in advance through agreed communication channels
- Bookings are subject to instructor availability
- Lesson duration and structure will be agreed prior to confirmation
- It is the learner’s responsibility to provide accurate personal and contact details
- Chris Jones Driving School reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where necessary
Payments
- Payment must be made in advance or at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed
- Accepted payment methods will be communicated during booking
- Block bookings or lesson packages must be paid in full before lessons begin
- All prices are subject to change with reasonable notice
- Outstanding payments may result in lesson suspension or cancellation
Cancellations And Refunds
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson
- Lessons cancelled without sufficient notice may be charged in full
- Refunds for unused lessons may be issued at the discretion of the business
- Block booking refunds may be adjusted based on lessons already taken
- Instructors may reschedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or vehicle issues
Punctuality And Attendance
- Learners must be ready at the agreed location and time
- Late arrival may result in reduced lesson time
- Instructors will wait a reasonable period before marking a lesson as missed
- Missed lessons without notice may be charged in full
Learner Responsibilities
- Learners must hold a valid provisional or full UK driving licence
- It is the learner’s responsibility to ensure they are legally fit to drive
- Learners must inform the instructor of any medical conditions that may affect driving
- Alcohol, drugs, or impairment of any kind are strictly prohibited before or during lessons
- Learners must follow instructor guidance at all times for safety
Instructor Responsibilities
- Instructors will be qualified and comply with DVSA standards
- Lessons will be conducted in a safe, professional, and supportive manner
- Vehicles used will be roadworthy, insured, and fitted with dual controls
- Instructors will provide clear guidance and structured lesson plans
Driving Tests
- It is the learner’s responsibility to book their theory and practical driving tests
- Instructors may advise on test readiness but cannot guarantee a pass
- Use of the instructor’s vehicle for the test must be agreed in advance
- Test-day bookings may be subject to additional fees
Lesson Packages and Expiry
- Prepaid lesson packages will have an expiry period of 6 months from payment
- Unused lessons after expiry may be forfeited
- Extensions may be granted at the discretion of the business
Use of Vehicle
- The instructor reserves the right to refuse use of the vehicle for lessons or tests if safety concerns arise
- Learners must treat the vehicle with care and respect
- Any damage caused due to negligence may be the learner’s responsibility
Liability
- Chris Jones Driving School is not responsible for any test outcomes
- Lessons are provided to improve driving skills, but responsibility for safe driving remains with the learner
- The business is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or external factors
- Personal belongings are the responsibility of the learner at all times
Data Protection
- Personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018
- Information collected is used only for lesson management, communication, and legal compliance

Complaints Procedure
- Any concerns or complaints should be raised directly with the instructor or business
- We aim to resolve issues promptly and fairly
- Formal complaints will be reviewed and responded to within a reasonable timeframe
Termination Of Services
- Chris Jones Driving School reserves the right to terminate lessons if terms are breached
- Unsafe behaviour, misconduct, or non-compliance may result in immediate termination
- No refunds will be issued where termination is due to breach of terms
Changes to Terms
- These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time
- Updated versions will be published on the website
- Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revised terms
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts.
